Bahrainis’ Heightened Inclination Towards Online Services for Growth

The era is transforming and nowadays more Bahrainis rely on online services for their businesses it’s a move towards a global world. Information and eGovernment Authority (IGA) listed the achievements during the year 2023 and revealed this information in Arad during the press conference.

There are 16 Government services have been updated. These services include the Birth and Death System, The National Correspondence System (Muwasalat), and Sijilat 3.0. Mr. Al Qaed said this is just the beginning and the three updates will be launching soon for Mawaeid, Sehati, and Tawasul. These updates feature the new services for apps. 

 

Deputy chief executive of iGA Dr. Zakareya Al Khaja explains some new features in detail. The Mawaeid App will be used in booking government appointments and rebooking the appointments if required. After the completion of booking an appointment, it analyses the process and informs you about the documentation that you will need to bring to your appointments.

 

Sehati will be used to book an appointment and to register for blood donation. This will assist you in providing authorized centers for blood donation. And lastly, Tawasul will launch an option to praise government workers’ services with thanks note. Also, updates for quality of life are added and an updated communication system will be used. During the year, 2022 Twasul app registers large number of complains. From which almost 97pc was resolved. Among these 85pc were satisfied. 

 

Mostly, within 3-5 days they cater all the issues. And customers were also provided a further 14 days to reopen the complaint. Mr Al Qaed also explains that everything is performed to secure online platforms from cyber attacks. He also explains the efforts behind receiving the reports and they run tests every day. He explains that, for now, we are very well prepared to deal with the latest dangers and attacks.
